The Nike Air Zoom Streak XC 2 are the newest addition to my racing flat collection. These flats are very light weighing only 5.4 ounces. The upper is made of a lightweight shear see-through mesh and the tongue almost feels like paper. The insole is flat like a track flat. So you can’t slip in a pair of SuperFeet. The sole has knobbies which are intended for little extra grip and also provide some extra cushioning. The Nike Air Zoom Streak XC 2 toebox is narrow. I would recommend trying on a pair a half size larger than normal. The XC 2’s ride great for such a lightweight shoe. I can’t wait to use them in a race.
If you are wondering how far you can go on a pair of Nike Air Zoom Streak XC 2 , Dathan Ritzenhein placed third at the 18th IAAF World Half Marathon Championships, in Birmingham, UK with them.
